Everyone is an AI Expert. Some Even Use It!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending After-hours: AI Talent, organised by EDB Singapore. A great evening of meeting interesting people, learning something new and exchanging thoughts on where AI is taking us.
One thing is becoming increasingly clear: AI is no longer just another technology trend. It's quickly becoming one of the main drivers of business transformation.
Every company needs an AI strategy. Every executive has an AI opinion. Every presentation needs at least three slides about AI. Preferably with a few impressive numbers nobody can verify.
And everyone is an AI expert these days. Some even use it! Jokes aside, I find this moment fascinating. We're moving from talking about what AI could do to discovering what it actually does. And the gap between those two is sometimes spectacular.
For me, the most interesting conversations are no longer about models, tools or prompts. They're about how AI changes the way we work, make decisions and build businesses.
The technology is moving incredibly fast. Our ability to rethink how we operate? Perhaps a little less so.
