Others appear because one of my websites is behaving suspiciously, a friend asks for help or I find myself repeating the same manual process for the fifth time. At that point, building a tool usually feels more reasonable than opening another spreadsheet.\n\nMany of these tools start as rough scripts intended for one specific job. If they remain useful, I improve them. The interface becomes friendlier, the explanations become clearer and, eventually, they turn into something another person could use without needing me in the room.\n\nThat is how **Michal’s Web Toolkit** came together.\n\n## Practical tools for real website problems\n\nThe toolkit is a collection of free tools for understanding and improving websites. They cover problems I regularly encounter while working with content, SEO, migrations and the increasingly complicated relationship between websites and AI systems.\n\nAt the moment, the collection includes:\n\n- **AI Website Readiness Check**, which examines what search engines, social platforms and AI crawlers can understand about a website.\n- **Content Refresh Check**, which finds ageing pages, broken links and content that may deserve another look.\n- **Website Migration Check**, which compares old and new websites to uncover missing pages, redirect problems and indexing mistakes.\n- **AI Visibility Explorer**, which investigates whether AI assistants mention a brand, which competitors appear and what sources influence their answers.\n- **Meta Tags Health Check**, which reviews metadata across an entire website instead of checking one page at a time.\n\nEach tool is free to use and requires no registration. Reports are private unless you explicitly choose to share them.\n\n## Why make them free?\n\nBecause I am a heavy user of free tools myself.\n\nOver the years, countless people have published utilities, libraries, guides and services that saved me hours of work. Many were created by someone who encountered a problem, solved it and decided that other people might find the solution useful too.\n\nThe web is better because people do that.\n\nPublishing my own tools feels like a small way to pay some of it back. They already exist, I already use them and making them available to others costs less than the value I have received from free software and services over the years.\n\nThere is no complicated business model hiding behind the curtain. No registration funnel. No seven-day trial followed by fourteen increasingly desperate emails.\n\nJust tools.\n\n## Feedback is the price\n\nFree does not mean I want nothing in return.\n\nIf a tool helps you, confuses you, misses something obvious or produces a result that does not make sense, tell me. A few lines of honest feedback are more useful than a payment because they help me understand what should be improved or built next.\n\nYou do not need to search for a contact form. **Ace**, the assistant waiting in the bottom-right corner of Michal’s Space, is ready to collect your thoughts. Open the conversation and tell Ace which tool you used and what happened.\n\nCompliments are welcome. Bug reports are probably more useful.\n\nMichal’s Web Toolkit will continue to grow as I encounter new problems worth solving. Some ideas will become proper tools. Others will remain questionable experiments on my laptop-which is probably safer for everyone.\n\nFor now, the toolkit has a home. Have a look, try something and let me know what you think.\n\n**[Explore Michal’s Web Toolkit →](https:\u002F\u002Fmichalspace.com\u002Ftools)**\n","false","Elevenlabs","","Discover why I created Michal’s Web Toolkit - a free collection for checking website SEO, content, migrations, AI readiness and search visibility.",[107,108,109,110],"Website tools","SEO","AI","Web development",[],"Sat Aug 29 2026 17:02:22 GMT+0800 (Singapore Standard Time)","Sat Aug 29 2026 17:06:34 GMT+0800 (Singapore Standard Time)","a4733141-b1bd-4e1e-b96b-0fb87fd5a841",{"_id":116,"id":117,"title":118,"alt":119,"category":51,"categorySlug":56,"date":120,"author":94,"readTime":95,"content":121,"image":122,"postImage":123,"more":100,"extendedContent":124,"asHTML":102,"photoCredit":125,"headTitle":126,"metaDesc":127,"draft":102,"tags":128,"createdAt":132,"updatedAt":133,"uuid":134,"ogImage":135,"relatedTools":136},"6a7983ddd2143e37bfdeb4cb","introducing-lodycdp","From a Side Project to a Product: Introducing LodyCDP","LodyCDP","2026-08-10T07:51:00.000Z","LodyCDP started as a personal project, a way for me to learn, experiment, and better understand how people use websites. It started as a personal project, a place where I could learn, experiment, and explore a question I kept coming back to: how can we better understand what people actually do on a website?\n\nOver the years, I ran different versions of it on several real websites. It collected page views and events, helped me investigate customer journeys, and showed me where people continued, converted, or dropped off.\n\nThe project kept evolving as I learned. I tried different ways of collecting data, presenting it, and turning it into something genuinely useful. Some ideas worked. Others did not. For a long time, LodyCDP was less of a finished system and more of a living laboratory.\n\nThat was valuable, but it also meant the project was never quite ready for anyone besides me.\n\nThe arrival of better AI tools changed that. They helped me work through the long list of things separating an internal project from a real product: refining the experience, improving the documentation, finding gaps, and completing many small but important details. AI did not replace the years of work behind LodyCDP, but it gave me the leverage I needed to finally bring all those pieces together.\n\nToday, LodyCDP is a customer journey analytics product. It captures page views and meaningful product events in real time, helping website and product owners understand how visitors move through their experience. Instead of looking only at isolated numbers, you can explore journeys, conversion, and drop-off and investigate new questions using data that has already been collected.\n\nOne of its main features is AI-assisted event discovery. Deciding what to track is often one of the hardest parts of setting up analytics. LodyCDP can examine a public website or product and suggest meaningful interactions worth measuring. These suggestions are expressed as clear tracking rules, and nothing starts recording until the site owner has reviewed and approved them. AI helps with discovery, while people remain in control of what is collected.\n\nThat control is part of a broader privacy-first approach. LodyCDP is designed to help businesses understand activity in their own products, not to create advertising profiles or follow people across the internet. It focuses on deliberate event collection rather than session replay, excludes sensitive values from AI event proposals, and does not sell customer analytics data or use it for unrelated advertising. Customers decide what to measure and who can access their data.\n\nLodyCDP is built and operated in Singapore by Aagee AI Pte Ltd. Building the company here has shaped how I think about responsibility and trust. Our data protection policies are grounded in Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, with clear commitments around responsible collection, use, disclosure, protection, and deletion of data. Privacy is not something added at the end; it is part of how the product is designed and operated.\n\nThis release feels different from starting something new. It is the result of returning to the same idea for years, testing it, learning from it, and slowly making it better. What began as an experiment running quietly on a handful of websites is now something I can finally share as a product.\n\nLodyCDP is still evolving, and there is plenty more I want to build. But it has reached an important milestone: it is no longer just my experiment.\n\nIt is ready for other people to use.\n\n[check it out here](https:\u002F\u002Flodycdp.com)\t\n","Recraft","LodyCDP Lightweight Observability For Digital Journeys","After years of building, testing, and learning from LodyCDP on real websites, I’ve finally turned my personal analytics project into a product.",[129,130,131],"Technology","Testing","New Projects","Mon Aug 10 2026 15:55:09 GMT+0800 (Singapore Standard Time)","Thu Sep 03 2026 19:47:28 GMT+0800 (Singapore Standard Time)","836a6587-8e37-4ca9-be16-2d2b7c9ea065","https:\u002F\u002Fmsatbsx.sgp1.digitaloceanspaces.com\u002Fnewslody.jpg",[137],"ai-website-readiness",{"relatedTools":139,"_id":140,"id":141,"title":142,"alt":143,"category":51,"categorySlug":56,"date":144,"author":94,"readTime":145,"content":146,"image":147,"more":100,"extendedContent":148,"asHTML":100,"photoCredit":149,"headTitle":150,"metaDesc":151,"tags":152,"createdAt":154,"updatedAt":155,"uuid":156},[],"69112d9d722b32fb3e7434bd","five-currencies-one-brain-and-a-simple-idea-turned-into-an-app","Five currencies, one brain… and a simple idea turned into an app.","FxCalculator mockup ","2025-11-09T23:59:00.000Z",2,"What started as frustration over complex currency apps became a weekend project - now a sleek, ad-free converter built with ExpressJS, MongoDB, and React Native.
